NOTÖRIOUS will release their second album “Marching On” worldwide by January 19th 2024 on Pride & Joy Music.
The 27th of January you can catch their release gig, live in their hometown of Bergen, at Kvarteret.

“Marching On” is a continuation of the anthemic heavy metal heard on their debut album “Glamorized” (2020), with has gotten excellent reviews.

NOTÖRIOUS is a heavy metal band from Bergen, Norway formed in 2018 with musical roots deep within the iconic style and edge of the 70's and 80's rock & roll.
The band takes great pride in their live performances and they always give 110%. What you see is what you get, and what you get is four guys rippin' it up on stage, giving you the finest of bone crushing, ear deafening rock & roll. The band sets itself apart by their ability to mix different genres and styles into their music, yet still maintaining an old school sound.

Experienced listeners say: “I got the feeling of being back in the 80's/90's”. Listeners who aren’t so familiar with the genre say: “I didn’t think I would like heavy metal, but this is awesome”.Being a band from Bergen, it felt natural for NOTÖRIOUS to incorporate black metal with their catchy riffs, high-pitched screams and irresistible choruses on their new album "Marching On". With this method they created a new spin on the genre - “True Norwegian Glam Metal”.

NOTÖRIOUS is:

Andy Sweet – Bass/Backing vocals
Nikki DiCato – Guitar/Backing vocals
Chris Höudini – Lead vocals
Freddy Kixx – Drums/Backing vocals

Masheena
is based on a simple yet challenging mission: to honor the rich heritage of hard rock music by creating great songs that people can connect with.

The story so far: a gang of seasoned musicians from the Bergen, Norway, hard rock scene with experience from bands like Immortal, Abbath, Lost at Last and Royal Rooster, got together at the end of 2021 to record an EP after a few rehearsals. The result caught the interest of revered Swedish label Majestic Mountain Records, who immediately signed the band to do a full album. The album, ‘West Coast Hard Rock’, was produced by Iver Sandøy (award winning producer and Enslaved drummer) and mixed in Austin by Gene ‘Machine’ Freeman (producer for Clutch, Lamb of God, King Crimson) which again led to a second signing with indie label Electric Label Records from Philadelphia upon completion in mid-2022.

The album was released 25th of August 2023 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, and even placed 6th on the highly influential Doom Charts for the same month. October 2023 Masheena was the most played band on Chicago’s ‘Tobacco Road’ Radio show, a part of Cowboy’s Juke Joint.
The Sabbath to Kiss to Soundgarden references are bridging listeners across musical segments.

Masheena consists of:
Luis “Metalberto” Salomon on vocals and guitar
Gedda “Armagedda” Herfindal on drums
Tarjei “El Profesor” Heggernes on bass
